MS Vice President Visited Korea and Japan Last Week for Client Meetings
Jo Joo Wan, CEO, Discusses Collaboration in Manufacturing and Mobility
A high-ranking executive from Microsoft (MS) visited South Korea and met with Jo Joo Wan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LG Electronics. They discussed collaboration in manufacturing and mobility businesses based on artificial intelligence (AI) industries.
According to industry sources on May 30, Dayan Rodriguez, Vice President of Manufacturing and Mobility at MS, visited South Korea and Japan last week to share opinions with customers and partners regarding AI business and market trends.

Vice President Rodriguez reportedly met with LG Electronics CEO Jo Joo Wan to discuss LG Electronics' smart factory, which is being developed as a new business leveraging more than 60 years of manufacturing expertise. They also exchanged views on strategies and market insights in the mobility sector, and discussed potential avenues for future business collaboration.
CEO Jo and MS CEO Satya Nadella have been strengthening their partnership since the 'MS CEO Summit' held at the MS headquarters in Seattle, United States, in May last year. In March this year, during the 'MS AI Tour,' CEO Nadella visited South Korea and held a separate meeting with CEO Jo to discuss cooperation in areas such as AI solutions and data centers.
