On May 30, Good Neighbors, a global child rights NGO, announced that voice actor Nam Dohyung has been inducted into 'The Neighbors Club'.
Nam Dohyung first became involved with Good Neighbors in 2012 by participating as a narrator for SBS Hope TV's 'The Most Beautiful Journey in the World'. Since then, he has consistently engaged in charitable activities, including one-on-one sponsorships for children overseas and donating his narration talents. This year, he joined the emergency relief sponsorship for the wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk, and was inducted into 'The Neighbors Club'.
'The Neighbors Club' is a group of members who donate more than 10 million KRW annually and go beyond financial support by leading the spread of a donation culture and realizing values greater than sponsorship through special acts of giving.
Nam Dohyung stated, "Giving has enriched not only the lives of children who receive help, but also my own life. I want to continue sharing with my neighbors and be part of positive change."
Nam Dohyung is gaining attention across various platforms, including his work on the Netflix original variety show 'Black and White Chef' and as the Korean dubbing voice for global YouTuber 'MrBeast'.
