Chungnam Social Service Institute Selects Two Exemplary Cases of Proactive Administration

The Chungnam Social Service Institute announced on the 30th that it has selected two cases as the "2025 Chungnam Social Service Institute Exemplary Cases of Proactive Administration" that have led to tangible changes felt by local residents.

This selection was organized to establish a culture of proactive administration within the public institution and to encourage creative administrative practices based on employees' autonomy and responsibility.

The case that ranked first, "Expansion of Digital Media Counseling Education," was highly rated for securing additional funding and dramatically expanding the scale of the project.

In fact, the number of youth beneficiaries increased by 2,099.5% compared to the initial target, contributing to addressing digital overdependence issues within the province.

The second-place case, "Hongdongdaum," established a self-sustaining integrated care model led by local residents. Hongdongdaum has presented a new direction for rural community welfare.

This project, which has been implemented in Hongdong-myeon for three years since 2023, realized a sustainable welfare system centered on the village community. Currently, it is expanding to eight regions within Chungnam and is regarded as a leading example of resident-driven welfare.

Director Kim Youngok stated, "We take great pride in the fact that our staff have gone beyond conventional practices to independently plan and implement policies that local residents can truly experience," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing full support and encouragement so that the Chungnam Social Service Institute can establish itself as a leading institution for public service innovation."

Meanwhile, the Chungnam Social Service Institute plans to recommend these cases as the institution's representative examples for the 2025 Chungcheongnam-do Exemplary Cases of Proactive Administration, which are being accepted until June 10.
