Through this agreement, the two companies plan to establish strategic cooperation in the commercialization, product planning, and operation of STOs, and to strengthen collaboration in various areas such as STO product screening and issuance. BuySell Standard, as the inaugural chair company of the Token Securities Council within the Korea Fintech Industry Association, is leading the growth of the STO industry.
Hana Securities completed the establishment of an integrated system in October last year that provides all services from the issuance to the distribution of token securities. Since then, the company has expanded its STO business by signing business agreements with multiple partners involved in STO-related projects.
Jo Daehun, Head of Digital Business Division at Hana Securities, said, "This agreement represents an important first step in establishing a foundation for STO products to be issued and distributed within the institutional framework," adding, "We will continue to drive the healthy growth of the STO market through various partnerships and provide investors with reliable investment opportunities."
Shin Beomjun, CEO of BuySell Standard, said, "By combining the expertise and capabilities of both companies, we will set a new standard for the STO industry and achieve ecosystem expansion," adding, "Through cooperation with Hana Securities, we will establish a systematic collaboration model for discovering new assets, developing innovative STO products, and leading the market."
