DH Autoware hit the upper price limit. The surge appears to have been influenced by news that the company secured a large-scale order for vehicle infotainment platform controller components.
As of 10:35 a.m. on May 30, DH Autoware was trading at 894 won, up 206 won (29.94%) from the previous trading day.
On this day, DH Autoware announced that its North American subsidiary had received a large-scale order for next-generation vehicle infotainment platform controller components from the Mexican manufacturing subsidiary of a global automotive parts company. According to the company, the contract covers enough components for 3.39 million vehicles over five years.
In June 2023, DH Autoware signed a seven-year long-term contract to supply core components for autonomous driving and connected cars to Hyundai Motor Group. With this latest order, the company has secured an additional large-scale contract. The counterparty is a key parts supplier to a global automaker, and its Mexican manufacturing subsidiary serves as a production base for North America.
The products ordered this time are core components for infotainment platform controllers to be used in vehicles of a global automaker. Vehicle infotainment systems provide not only media content to users, but also offer convenience features such as climate and lighting control, and navigation integration.
