Busan Education Training Institute Launches 'Edu Market Job Training' for Elementary Teachers to Strengthen Future Education Competencies

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Training Institute (Director Kim Miran) has launched the "Elementary Edu Market Job Training" program for more than 800 elementary school teachers and educational professionals, aiming to strengthen on-site, customized future education capabilities.

This training will run until June 30, 2025, and features a tailored curriculum designed to meet the needs of teachers at different stages of their careers, attracting significant attention.

The "Elementary Edu Market Job Training" program is organized around key themes such as academic achievement, character education, and future education, keeping pace with current educational trends. It is designed to expand teachers' self-directed participation in training and to enable flexible adaptation to the evolving educational environment.

In particular, this year’s program is characterized by a stronger emphasis on practicality and hands-on experiences, reflecting the real needs of the field.

Representative courses include "Designing Inquiry-Based Math Classes Using AIDT," "Creating Ready-to-Use AI-Based Teaching Materials," and "365 Daily Fun Classroom Activities," among others.

The training enhances practicality by utilizing various educational methods such as hands-on practice and field experiences, enabling teachers to immediately apply what they learn in their classrooms.

Kim Miran, Director of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Training Institute, stated, "The core of this job training program is to enhance the practical teaching capabilities of elementary school teachers and to lay the foundation for proactively responding to educational changes. We expect that, through a robust training curriculum, students’ learning will also deepen."

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education has set three main strategies for operating its training programs: expanding on-site focused training, strengthening the connection between artificial intelligence and digital education, and increasing the guarantee of teacher autonomy. The office continues to implement a variety of programs to enhance teacher competencies.
