Expands support to six additional schools in Seoul

The Doosan YeonGang Foundation has selected high school scholarship recipients who, despite difficult family circumstances, have achieved excellent academic performance and serve as role models for other students, providing scholarships totaling 500 million won.

On May 30, the Doosan YeonGang Foundation announced that it had newly selected 499 students as "Doosan YeonGang High School Scholars" this year and awarded them scholarships totaling approximately 500 million won. The foundation expanded its support by additionally selecting six high schools located in districts among Seoul's 25 administrative districts with the highest ratio of scholarship recipients relative to the population. In the second half of the year, the Doosan YeonGang Foundation plans to provide a total of 3 billion won in scholarships annually through various scholarship programs, including the Doosan Dream Tree Scholarship and the Technical Talent High School Scholarship.


Yonghyun Park, Chairman of Doosan YeonGang Foundation, said, "I hope that being selected as a scholarship recipient will help students ease their financial burdens and allow them to focus on their studies."
