[Tomorrow's Weather] Mostly Clear in Gwangju and Jeonnam... Daytime Highs Up to 27 Degrees

Korea Meteorological Administration Warns of Possible Flooding
in Low-Lying Areas During High Tide

[Tomorrow's Weather] Mostly Clear in Gwangju and Jeonnam... Daytime Highs Up to 27 Degrees On the 30th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear with daytime highs reaching up to 27 degrees Celsius. The Korea Meteorological Administration advised caution against flooding in low-lying areas due to sea level rise during high tide. Yonhap News Agency

On the 30th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear, although there will be occasional clouds from the afternoon.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a high-pressure system moving southward over the West Sea. Morning lows are forecast to range from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to reach between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius.

Waves in both the West Sea and the South Sea coastal waters are expected to reach up to 0.5 meters. The concentration of ultrafine dust is forecast to remain at a 'moderate' level.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "This is a period when the gravitational pull of the moon causes sea levels to rise, and during high tide, sea levels will increase further, raising the possibility of flooding in low-lying areas. Please take special precautions to prevent any damage."
