Continuous Recognition for Achievements in Ministry of Education Support Program
Seoul Women’s University announced on May 29 that it has been selected as a final recipient for the Ministry of Education’s “2025-2026 University Support Program for High School Education Contribution.”
The “University Support Program for High School Education Contribution” aims to reduce the burden of college admissions on students and strengthen the connection between high school curricula and university admissions by supporting universities in operating fair and transparent admissions processes.
Seoul Women’s University has been selected for this support program for 18 consecutive years, starting with the “Admissions Officer System Support Project” in 2008 and continuing through this year.
Through this project, Seoul Women’s University plans to continuously promote and expand ▲the linkage between high school education and universities ▲the enhancement of the social responsibility of higher education ▲the strengthening of the university’s evaluation capabilities.
In particular, the university intends to improve its admissions process by considering the evaluation system of the “2028 College Admissions Reform Plan,” in order to reflect changes in the high school education system.
To alleviate the burden of private education on students, Seoul Women’s University is diversifying its information channels and operating various programs to improve access to admissions information, including ▲the SWU Comprehensive Student Record Admissions Academy ▲mock admissions processes ▲support for the operation of the high school credit system.
Han Wonsik, Dean of Admissions at Seoul Women’s University, stated, “Seoul Women’s University will contribute to nurturing talent through high school-university linkage programs that provide practical support to students.”
Meanwhile, detailed information about the university’s admissions process and high school-university linkage programs can be found on the Admissions Office website.
