Sunchang County to Conduct Collective and Cyber Civil Defense Training

According to the county on May 29, this training program is designed not only to improve understanding of the civil defense system but also to strengthen practical disaster response abilities. It will be conducted in two formats: collective training and cyber education.

The collective training will take place at 9 a.m. on June 30 in the main conference room on the third floor of Sunchang County Office. The training targets a total of 252 participants, including first- and second-year civil defense personnel, technical support members, and civil defense leaders. Over the course of four hours, the program will cover four essential areas: understanding the civil defense system, emergency first aid, preparedness for chemical, biological, and radiological threats, and fire prevention and response.

The cyber education will be held for 40 days from June 5 to July 14, targeting 603 civil defense personnel with three or more years of service. Participants can access the training through the Digital Civil Defense Education website. For detailed training schedules and information related to civil defense, inquiries can be made through the National Disaster Safety Portal or the Safety Management Team at Sunchang County Office.

A county official stated, "We expect this training to further enhance the crisis response capabilities of our personnel and strengthen disaster preparedness within the region." The official added, "Additionally, we are planning two supplementary training sessions in August and October."
