"There Is No Summer for Us"... Yangsan to Host Soju Youth Culture Center Festival

June 14, 1:00 p.m. at the Hoya River Riverside near Cheonseong River

Yangsan, Gyeongnam is once again buzzing with the energy and enthusiasm of its youth.

The city of Yangsan announced that the Soju Youth Culture Center Festival, titled "There Is No Summer for Us!", will take place on June 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the stage at the Hoya River riverside near Cheonseong River.

This festival, which has drawn significant attention and enthusiastic responses every year, returns this year with an even richer and more youth-driven program. As its name suggests, the creativity and energy of the youth?unstoppable even in the heat of summer?will fill the banks of the Hoya River.

This year's event stands out as an "autonomous festival," planned and led directly by the youth themselves, going beyond simple performances or exhibitions. In addition to a variety of stage performances, there will be numerous hands-on booths where visitors can actively participate, including water gun games, watermelon-stealing games, dalgona games, mother-of-pearl mirror decorating, making handheld fans, creating whistle keyrings, face painting, and making friendship bracelets, ensuring everyone can join in the fun.

This year, the festival will also feature a safety experience campaign in collaboration with nursing students from Chunhae Health College, as well as participation from the Gaewoon Middle School club, the Yangsan Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, and the Yangsan Out-of-School Youth Support Center. As a result, the festival is expected to establish itself as a leading local youth festival that goes beyond simple entertainment to include education and community engagement.

An official from the Soju Youth Culture Center stated, "This festival is a platform for youth to connect with the local community and grow through cultural activities they plan themselves," adding, "We expect this year's event to receive as much enthusiastic support as last year's.
