Service Launched to Compensate Up to 90% of Cancellation Fees
Jeju Air announced on the 29th that it has improved its services to make it easier for members to enjoy benefits when purchasing flight tickets through its website and mobile application (app) or web page.
When logged-in members make their own reservations, discount codes are automatically applied at all times, and additional services can now be selected during the reservation and ticketing process. Depending on the fare, members can immediately choose from options such as Baggage PLUS+, Baggage Seat PLUS+, and Premium PLUS+, which include additional services such as checked baggage, free seat selection, priority baggage, and complimentary in-flight meals. This reduces the number of steps compared to the previous process, where customers had to select a fare and then purchase additional service products separately for each segment.
Additionally, the airline has made it possible to purchase the Fee Safe PLUS+ service, which compensates up to 90% of the cancellation fee, together with flight tickets. If a ticket is canceled up to one day before departure after purchasing the service, customers can conveniently claim compensation through the Jeju Air website, mobile app or web, or via the notification link sent at the time of product subscription.
A Jeju Air representative stated, "We have improved our website and mobile app/web to provide differentiated benefits at all times to members who purchase through these channels, and to allow them to easily check fares and additional services at a glance." The representative added, "We will continue to develop services that meet customer needs, such as Fee Safe PLUS+, in order to provide a unique and differentiated customer experience exclusive to Jeju Air."
