On May 28, Samsung Bioepis was selected as an 'Outstanding Company in Gender Equality Employment' and received a ministerial commendation at the '2025 Gender Equality Employment Emphasis Period' award ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, held at Olympic Parktel in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

This recognition was given in acknowledgment of Samsung Bioepis's efforts to create an organizational culture where men and women can work equally, as well as its active implementation of various policies that support maternity protection and a balanced work-family life.

In addition, Samsung Bioepis has established globally competitive work systems such as flexible working hours and autonomous commuting. The company also provides in-house education and job rotation programs to support the career development and growth of its employees.

Notably, with women making up 50% of the total workforce, Samsung Bioepis has implemented maternity protection policies such as reduced working hours for pregnant employees, fetal care leave, parental leave, and maternity protection rooms to empower female employees to fully demonstrate their capabilities. The company is also currently working to expand the capacity of its in-house daycare center, which accommodates about 100 children.

Furthermore, Samsung Bioepis is striving to build a corporate culture that enhances both employee engagement and satisfaction through online and offline communication programs and a culture of mutual respect within the organization.

Regarding this award, Kang Daeseong, Head of the People Team at Samsung Bioepis, stated, "This achievement is the result of our continuous efforts to establish a healthy organizational culture based on gender equality. We will continue to do our best to create a work environment where employees have equal opportunities based on their abilities and can enjoy a harmonious balance between work and life."
