Charlie, the son of 'golf legend' Tiger Woods, claimed his first-ever victory at an American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournament.

Charlie Woods Claims First AJGA Tournament Victory Tiger Woods' son Charlie won the AJGA tournament Team TaylorMade Invitational.

On May 28 (local time), at the Streamsong Golf Club (par 72) in Bowling Green, Florida, Charlie carded eight birdies and two bogeys for a 6-under-par 66 in the third round of the Team TaylorMade Invitational. With a three-round total of 15-under-par 201, he finished three strokes ahead of joint second-place finishers, including Willie Gordon (12-under-par 204). This marks Charlie's first win at an AJGA event.

Prior to this tournament, Charlie was ranked only 604th in the AJGA rankings and had never secured a victory at an AJGA-sanctioned event. With this win, he has earned full-time AJGA playing privileges and is expected to move into the top 20 in the rankings. A total of 72 players participated in this tournament, including four of the top five players in the AJGA rankings. Charlie said, "I achieved a great result under a lot of pressure," and added, "I think this victory will be a huge boost for me going forward."
