Fostering Entrepreneurial Skills Together through Startup Education, Shared Spaces and Equipment, and Expert Mentoring
Busan National University has joined forces with 16 career education support centers across Busan to promote entrepreneurship among local youth.

The Startup Support Group of Busan National University (headed by Kang Jungeun, Professor of Urban Engineering; President Choi Jaewon) signed a business agreement on May 28 at the Samsung Industry-Academic Cooperation Hall on campus to support the activation of youth entrepreneurship.
This agreement involves 16 career education support centers from Haeundae-gu, Saha-gu, Sasang-gu, Gijang-gun, Yeongdo-gu, Buk-gu, Dongnae-gu, Dong-gu, Geumjeong-gu, Nam-gu, Gangseo-gu, Busanjin-gu, Suyeong-gu, Yeonje-gu, Jung-gu, and Seo-gu in Busan. The aim is to share the university's startup infrastructure with local educational institutions to strengthen youth entrepreneurship capabilities and contribute to the spread of an entrepreneurial culture in the region.
The participating organizations will cooperate throughout the entire startup process, including jointly planning and operating entrepreneurship education programs for youth, sharing infrastructure such as startup spaces and equipment, and providing expert mentoring connections.
Kang Jungeun, head of the Startup Support Group, said, "We will spare no practical support so that local youth can design their futures through entrepreneurship," and added, "Based on Busan National University's capabilities, we will create a startup ecosystem that can grow together with the local community."
