On May 28, the Guro District Office announced that Mayor Jang Inhong visited the Guro 5-dong early voting station, which was set up at the Guro Residents' Hall, to conduct an on-site inspection and personally check the preparation status for the 21st presidential election.
This inspection was organized to thoroughly review the installation and overall operation of the voting stations ahead of the early voting period, which will take place over two days starting May 29, to ensure that residents can participate in voting safely and conveniently.
On site, Mayor Jang checked the entry and exit routes, the arrangement of voting booths, and the installation status of ballot boxes.
In particular, he carefully examined the voting convenience facilities and on-site guidance system for people with disabilities and senior citizens, so that all voters can exercise their rights without inconvenience.
He also requested the cooperation of on-site staff for smooth operations.
For this election, the district will operate a total of 16 early voting stations from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. over two days, from May 29 to May 30.
The main voting on election day will be held on June 3, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at 98 polling stations throughout Guro District.
Mayor Jang Inhong stated, "We are doing our utmost to ensure that every voter can cast their precious vote without inconvenience during early voting," and added, "Since each and every vote is a crucial key in determining the future of the Republic of Korea, I sincerely hope everyone will participate in the election."
