'Huh Kyungyoung in Detention Issues Notice: "Increase New Members"'

Huh Kyungyoung, Honorary Representative of the National Revolutionary Party, who has been detained on charges including fraud and quasi-forcible molestation, delivered a notice to followers at the religious facility "Haneulgung" even while in custody.

According to a notice released by Haneulgung on the 28th, Huh transferred his claimed spiritual authorities?such as the right to bless, the right to nameplates, and the right to assign levels?to an individual identified as Baek. He instructed, "I have delegated these rights until I am released, so receive blessings and nameplates from Baek." He also asserted that Baek's role would have the same effect as his own.

Huh encouraged followers to actively recruit new members, stating that those who bring in new recruits will be granted a level, and their names will be inscribed in Baekgung. He emphasized that merely attending lectures as existing members is not enough and that recruiting new members is essential to maintain Haneulgung.

This notice appears to be a measure to ensure the smooth operation of Haneulgung in the absence of Huh's weekend lectures. Despite Huh's detention, Haneulgung, located in Jangheung-myeon, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, is reportedly operating as usual.

Previously, on the 23rd, the Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency referred Huh to prosecutors for indictment on charges of fraud, violation of the Political Funds Act, and quasi-forcible molestation. Huh is accused of selling expensive spiritual products by claiming to have spiritual powers and of molesting followers.
