'Fun-On-Work' Team of MZ Generation Public Officials Formed
Utilizing ChatGPT for Innovation
Seo-gu District in Gwangju (Mayor Kim Ikang) recently conducted competency enhancement training, led by the innovation group 'Fun-On-Work,' which is comprised of MZ generation public officials. The team independently developed the 'AI-GO Chatbot' utilizing ChatGPT.
Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu District Office in Gwangju, is giving an encouraging speech at the 'Fun-On-Work Development AI Project Expansion Training,' held on the 26th at the Seo-gu District Office Informatization Education Center, sharing the achievements of generative AI and RPA practical projects centered on the innovation department to establish a foundation for spreading to all departments. According to Seo-gu District on the 28th, the 'AI-GO Chatbot' includes the 'AI Reporter,' which can automatically generate press releases, as well as the 'AI Editor,' which can plan, review, and revise various reports and administrative documents.
The district expects that, as a result, employees will be able to draft and edit documents more quickly and accurately, thereby improving work efficiency. The Fun-On-Work team also developed the 'Sseuseurobot' program for administrative task automation. This program, based on RPA (Robotic Process Automation), automatically generates various certificates, name tags, and appointment letters, and includes features that reduce the burden of repetitive tasks such as business trip expense processing and personal information organization within the district.
By the end of next month, the district plans to increase AI utilization in each department through practical, hands-on training. In July, Seo-gu District will collaborate with specialized agencies to further enhance program functionality and expand its application.
Employees who attended the first training session on the 26th stated, "We expect that utilizing AI will help shorten work hours and reduce document errors, providing practical benefits."
Mayor Kim Ikang said, "This program is especially meaningful because it was developed directly by employees to address inconveniences in their work." He added, "Going forward, we will actively introduce AI technology for repetitive and simple tasks, and fully support the creation of an enjoyable workplace culture so that employees can work in a more creative and autonomous environment."
