The UNICEF Korea Committee (Chairperson Jung Gabyoung) announced on May 28 that it has signed a social contribution agreement with the Hana Financial Sharing Foundation (Chairperson Lee Seungyeol) to support children worldwide.
Under the agreement, the Hana Financial Sharing Foundation will raise funds through donation boxes installed at Hana Bank branches in Passenger Terminals 1 and 2 of Incheon International Airport. The foundation will then match the total amount collected with an equivalent donation through a matching grant, supporting children around the world.
Shim Gicheon, Director of the Hana Financial Sharing Foundation, who attended the signing ceremony, stated, "It is very meaningful that the Hana Financial Sharing Foundation, which pursues various welfare projects to create a happier society for everyone, and UNICEF, which is one of the most active organizations promoting child welfare worldwide, are working together to deliver hope to children."
Jo Mijin, Secretary-General of the UNICEF Korea Committee, said, "Every small act of love is a seed of hope that can change a child's life. I sincerely thank the Hana Financial Sharing Foundation for contributing to the healthy growth of children worldwide, and I encourage many people to join in this warm act of sharing for children."
