[2025 Apartment Brand Awards] 'Prugio': A Living and Cultural Space Integrating People, Nature, and the Environment

Prugio Edition 2025:
A New Standard for Premium Residential Spaces and Customer Satisfaction

Daewoo E&C's 'Prugio' is a brand that combines the pure Korean word 'pureuda,' meaning cleanliness and freshness, with 'GEO,' which means land or space. It represents a high-level living and cultural space where people, nature, and the environment are harmoniously integrated. After launching the brand in 2003, Daewoo E&C renewed it in 2019 to reflect a new design and direction. Previously, in 1994, Daewoo E&C was the first in Korea to introduce the concept of environmental friendliness to apartments, developing eco-friendly residential products such as Green Home.


Since 2021, Daewoo E&C has concentrated its capabilities in residential product development to release the Prugio Edition every two years. This year, the theme is 'Healing in Everyday Life, Spaces Full of Vitality.' Newly introduced features include private spas reminiscent of luxury resorts, floor structures that reduce inter-floor noise, and switches that conveniently control various functions. The kitchen has been designed in a showroom style, and some unit types feature a bathroom in every room. New exterior landscape lighting designs have also been introduced, inspired by gentle breezes and sunlight. The 'Blanc Summit 74' community, which adopted the Prugio Edition 2025, received the main award at the '2025 iF Design Award,' one of the world's top three design awards.

Customer satisfaction is high for the 'PRUS+' service provided for residents. During the designated move-in period, residents receive a 'Welcome Meal,' a lunchbox filled with various side dishes, and can borrow power tools needed in the early stages of moving in. After move-in, a variety of community programs are offered to further enhance resident satisfaction. The in-complex concerts, which began in 2022, have been held at over 60 complexes nationwide. This year, concerts are planned at over 20 locations. Cultural classes on topics such as wine, tea, and upcycling are also well received by residents.


A Daewoo E&C representative stated, "We will continue to introduce differentiated residential products based on Prugio Edition 2025 and lead Korea's high-end residential culture."


Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park, which is scheduled for occupancy in 2027, is considered an apartment complex that fully embodies this brand philosophy. The complex features a combination of south-facing plate-type and hybrid structures, as well as dual-sided open designs to maximize sunlight and views. Depending on the unit type, specialized designs optimized for storage, such as entrance storage, corridor pantries, and alpha rooms, have been applied. With the smart home application, residents can control home devices and check energy and maintenance fees anytime and anywhere.
