Human Technology and Agos Selected as Suppliers for Illegal Drone Response System at Government Sejong Complex

Human Technology and Agos Selected as Suppliers for Illegal Drone Response System at Government Sejong Complex

Agos, a subsidiary of Human Technology specializing in anti-drone and next-generation radio communication systems, announced on the 28th that it has been selected, together with Hanwha Systems, as the final successful bidder for the government contract to supply and install an illegal drone response system at the Government Sejong Complex. By adding another major achievement in the anti-drone sector, Agos has secured a favorable position for future business opportunities.

The bidding process was conducted through the Public Procurement Service's Nara Marketplace. Among several domestic companies specializing in anti-drone solutions, Agos was selected as the contractor by achieving the highest technical evaluation score, based on its outstanding technological capabilities and differentiated solutions.

Agos formed a consortium with Hanwha Systems and participated in the bid jointly. Leveraging its record of building the largest number of anti-drone systems in Korea, Agos provides highly sophisticated systems specifically designed to respond to illegal drones.

Through this project, Agos and Hanwha Systems will comprehensively carry out the entire process at the Government Sejong Complex, including the supply and installation of the illegal drone response system, equipment inspection, training, and pilot operation.

A representative from Agos stated, "Our proprietary RF scanner and integrated management and operation system achieved excellent results in the equipment performance tests during the bidding process and received high marks from the administrators conducting the evaluations. We are committed to successfully completing this project and significantly enhancing the drone defense capabilities of the Government Sejong Complex."

With growing concerns over illegal drones and unmanned aerial vehicle threats, the demand for related response systems is rapidly increasing, particularly among government agencies and major public facilities. The company explained that this project was also initiated to strengthen the security and safety of key national facilities.

Meanwhile, Agos maintains a high market share in Korea's anti-drone system market, having developed key components such as frequency scanners, surveillance cameras, and integrated control systems with its own technology. Agos's solutions are currently attracting significant interest from a variety of major facilities, including power plants, airports, military bases, public institutions, and national industrial complexes.
