According to FnGuide, as of the 26th, the net asset value of the HANARO Nuclear Power iSelect ETF reached 101.5 billion KRW, an increase of 61 billion KRW since the beginning of this year.

In addition to its strong performance?with a one-month return of 32.3% and a six-month return of 45.8%?the nuclear power investment theme has gained significant popularity, leading individual investors to record a net purchase of 17.6 billion KRW since the start of the year.

As electricity demand surges and nuclear energy emerges as an alternative for energy security, Europe is shifting its nuclear power policies in a more positive direction. Meanwhile, in the United States, President Donald Trump has signaled the beginning of a major shift in nuclear power policy for the first time in 50 years, ushering in a global nuclear renaissance.

The United States, which had been conservative toward nuclear power?having constructed only two new nuclear plants since 1978?is now expected to quadruple its nuclear power generation capacity by 2050 as a result of President Trump's executive order.

This is expected to provide an unprecedented investment opportunity for Korean companies with world-class nuclear plant equipment and construction capabilities. Doosan Enerbility, already considered a major beneficiary, saw its stock rise by 43% in May alone.

The HANARO Nuclear Power iSelect ETF is a product that invests in 20 leading domestic companies related to nuclear power generation. It includes Doosan Enerbility, Korea Electric Power Corporation, LS ELECTRIC, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, HD Hyundai Electric, Hyosung Heavy Industries, and others.

Kim Seungcheol, Head of ETF Investment at NH-Amundi Asset Management, stated, "The HANARO Nuclear Power iSelect ETF is a product that invests in companies involved in nuclear power generation and power infrastructure," and predicted, "The global nuclear renaissance, driven by power shortages, will present significant opportunities for domestic nuclear power companies."
