Lotte Department Store Collaborates with French Artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet
"Spring Is Blooming" Outdoor Installation Project Unveiled in Korea for the First Time
On May 28, Lotte Department Store announced that it will present the outdoor installation art project "Spring Is Blooming" in collaboration with the French luxury jewelry brand Van Cleef Arpels at Lotte World Tower World Park in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, from May 31 to June 15.
Spring Is Blooming is a large-scale installation art project created through a collaboration between Van Cleef Arpels and French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. The project celebrates the arrival of spring and has been held in major cities around the world, including New York, Tokyo, and Shanghai. This marks its first appearance in Korea, taking place in Jamsil, Seoul.
During the event, approximately 2,000 square meters (about 610 pyeong) of World Park will be transformed into a spring garden in the heart of the city. Large-scale installations featuring Alexandre Benjamin Navet's imagination, such as uniquely decorated floral arches and swings that sway in the breeze, will be showcased.
The event will operate from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, and until 9:00 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays. Visitors can attend without prior reservation.
Previously, in March, Lotte Department Store opened Van Cleef Arpels and Graff at its main branch, and recently welcomed the watch brand Breguet and luxury jewelry brand Fope to its Jamsil branch. Lotte Department Store plans to continue introducing differentiated content in the future.
Cho Hyungjoo, Head of the Luxury Division at Lotte Department Store, stated, "'Spring Is Blooming,' which is being held in Korea for the first time, is a global project that has already been successfully held in major cities around the world. We believe it will provide Jamsil branch customers with a unique artistic experience. We will continue to offer innovative luxury content and services that exceed customer expectations in the future."
