A total of 227 students from 15 elementary schools participated, and 100 works (36 from lower grades and 64 from upper grades) were ultimately selected.

At the event, Guro District Mayor Jang Inhong attended and presented plaques to 50 awardees, including two grand prize winners, eight excellence award winners, sixteen merit award winners, and twenty-four encouragement award winners, offering his congratulations.

Jang Inhong, Mayor of Guro District, stated, "I sincerely congratulate all the students who received awards in this contest," and added, "We will continue to work together with residents to respond to the climate crisis and create a sustainable future."

In addition to the awards ceremony, the event featured an exhibition of the winning works, environmental education sessions, and promotion of the Eco Mileage program.
