The Korea Teachers’ Credit Union annually selects outstanding institutions by comprehensively evaluating the previous year’s S2B usage records and growth rates among educational institutions nationwide. The Honam region award ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Gwangju on the same day.
The provincial office has made various efforts to encourage participation by local companies, such as operating a dedicated S2B Jeonnam vendor section, promoting S2B registration among small businesses, and expanding user education. As a result of these efforts, the contract rate with Jeonnam-based companies through S2B reached 71.7% in 2024, a 4.9 percentage point increase compared to the previous year.
In particular, Muan Happiness Elementary School has been recognized as an excellent institution for three consecutive years, and Haeryong High School for six consecutive years, establishing themselves as exemplary cases of integrity contract management at the school level. The Muan Office of Education was also included in the list of awardees for being recognized for transparency and fairness in local contracts.
Oh Junheon, Director of Finance, stated, "This award is the result of all staff members consistently practicing for a culture of integrity in contracts," adding, "We will continue to actively encourage Jeonnam-based companies to join S2B, enhance S2B user education, and do our utmost to increase the contract rate with local companies and revitalize the local economy."
