A man in his 60s has been arrested in Gwangju after assaulting an election campaign staffer with a glass bottle at a National Assembly member's office. He is also accused of returning to the office several days later and assaulting another employee.
The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 27th that they had arrested a man in his 60s, identified as A, on charges including special assault after he injured an election campaign staffer with a glass bottle.
On the 21st, A visited the office of Democratic Party lawmaker Jung Junho in Duam-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, and is accused of hitting campaign staffer B in the face with a glass bottle following an argument.
