[2025 Apartment Brand Awards] Suwon I-Park City Featuring the Latest AI Technology

HDC Hyundai Development Company received the Customer Satisfaction Award at the Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards this year. The company is dedicated to managing customer satisfaction by applying the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), implementing meticulous design, and providing attentive after-sales service for residents.

Over the past 50 years, HDC Hyundai Development Company has supplied a total of 470,000 housing units. Among them, there are only three I-Park City complexes nationwide: in Daejeon, Cheonan, and Suwon. Suwon I-Park City, which the company has devoted special effort to developing, is considered a city in itself, with the 10th phase of Suwon I-Park City, scheduled for completion at the end of this year, representing the pinnacle of the project.

The 10th phase of Suwon I-Park City is a complex that incorporates the latest technologies. Residents do not need to carry keys, as the complex features a facial recognition Smart One Pass system that allows free access from the main entrance to individual homes. Advanced AI functions are built into the wall pad and smart home app, enabling residents to control lighting, door locks, heating, ventilation, and elevator calls, as well as turn on their desired TV channels, access stock information, and receive movie recommendations, all through voice commands. For the first time in Korea, an AI voice recognition feature has been installed on the wall pad, allowing residents to operate functions using only voice commands, without having to turn on the wall pad or their smartphones.

The underground parking lot is equipped with 12-megapixel 360-degree cameras that guide drivers to available parking spaces and display the parking location on the wall pad and app. Playground streetlights display fine dust levels, and air quality sensors provide real-time indoor air quality updates via the wall pad.

The 10th phase of Suwon I-Park City takes advantage of its vertically elongated rectangular site by orienting most buildings to face south. The tower-style layout reduces the number of buildings, ensuring greater distance between them and maximizing a sense of openness. The lower floors are specially designed to emphasize community connectivity and views, with community meeting rooms, study cafes, and multipurpose rooms located on the third and fourth floors above ground to strengthen connections with the lower levels. The spacious four-bay layout is designed for cross-ventilation, and deep walk-in closets and built-in wardrobes provide ample storage space.

To enhance customer satisfaction, HDC Hyundai Development Company operates the I-Park Welcome Service. A Welcome Service Manager is assigned to guide residents through defect management requests, progress updates, and resolution status, as well as to provide move-in assistance and information about living in the complex.
