Duksung Women's University participated in the performance sharing meeting for the "2024 On-site School Consulting" project, which was organized by the Ministry of Education, the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, and 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education. The event was held on May 17 at the KTX Campus of Hoseo University in Asan, Chungnam.

This performance sharing meeting was organized to share the results of the project over the past year and to discuss tangible changes in the field. Excellent case studies from eight schools nationwide, including Gyeonggi, Chungnam, Daejeon, Gyeongbuk, and Busan, were presented, followed by reports on the journey of change involving teachers, students, and parents.

In this project, Duksung Women's University collaborated with Hoseo University, GN Mirae Education Social Cooperative, and Coderble Co., Ltd. to provide customized consulting to a total of 130 elementary, middle, and high schools last year. The university plans to continue the program at the same scale this year. In addition, based on the WISE education model (Wisdom, Imagination, Security, Esteem) in 2025, the university will operate customized programs for schools and actively support digital transformation and competency enhancement in educational settings nationwide.

The "On-site School Consulting" program, which is also a key initiative of the Ministry of Education for digital-based educational innovation, is a nationwide program that supports customized innovation for elementary, middle, high, and special schools. It provides subject-specific AI and digital tool utilization, as well as digital literacy education for students.

Park Jooyeon, Director of the Center for Digital Educational Engineering at Duksung Women's University, stated, "We have supported customized education that strengthens the digital education capabilities of school communities by considering school conditions and various needs," and added, "This year, we will further diversify our programs to reflect the needs of more educational sites and realize the public value and inclusiveness of digital education."
