Gwangju City announced on May 27 that it has established the integrated reporting system "Bupae Allileo" to eradicate corrupt practices in the public sector and improve citizens' accessibility to reporting, and that the system will be officially launched on June 1.

Previously, depending on the type of corrupt act?such as abuse of power, corruption, irregularities, or passive administration?users had to search for and access various reporting sites, including the Misconduct Reporting Center, Passive Administration Reporting Center, Budget Waste Reporting Center, and Recruitment Irregularities Reporting Center, which caused significant inconvenience.

To address these issues, the city has developed the integrated system "Bupae Allileo," which allows users to report with a single click. When a citizen selects a type of report, the system immediately connects them to the relevant reporting system with just one click, enabling easy access without complicated search procedures.

Reporters can find the appropriate site for their reporting purpose through icons and brief descriptions provided for each type of report. In addition, the system offers mobile access via smartphones, allowing users to conveniently report corrupt acts anytime and anywhere.

To increase the utilization of the integrated reporting system, the city plans to actively encourage citizen use through various online and offline promotional activities, such as posters and banners.

Lim Taehyung, Chairperson of the Audit Committee, stated, "This integrated reporting system is a practical improvement to minimize inconvenience for citizens and enhance integrity in the public sector," and added, "We will continue to improve systems and expand convenience to realize citizen-centered 'transparent administration' in the future."
