Autonomous A2G Applies Eco-Friendly Solutions to Autonomous Vehicle 'ROii' Autonomous A2G, a self-driving company, signed a business agreement with 3M Korea on the 26th at 3M Korea's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to introduce eco-friendly graphic solutions for electric vehicle (EV) autonomous cars. Under the agreement, A2G will apply 3M Korea's Non-PVC eco-friendly graphic film to its self-developed EV autonomous vehicle, ROii. The Non-PVC eco-friendly graphic film minimizes the emission of harmful substances to protect air quality, and its high durability ensures stable adhesion even at low temperatures.

In addition, the company plans to expand the application of eco-friendly graphic films to all A2G autonomous mobility vehicles, including modified vehicles, to improve exterior design.

The two companies will also implement eco-friendly design solutions for both the exterior wrapping and interior of vehicles by applying a corn-based biomass film, which is the first digital printing film to receive Green Technology Certification. They will also collaborate on product development using eco-friendly materials or technologies, design improvements, and technical consulting.

Through these efforts, A2G aims to minimize the environmental impact generated during the development and operation of autonomous vehicles. The company also plans to strengthen eco-friendly mobility technology by applying a variety of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based solutions to autonomous mobility, including solar power-based energy systems and interior materials made from recycled resources.

Han Ji-Hyung, CEO of Autonomous A2G, stated, "The application of eco-friendly technology in the autonomous mobility industry is now an essential element rather than a choice. We will lead the popularization of eco-friendly autonomous vehicles by promoting technology innovation that considers the environment and fulfilling our social responsibility as a global mobility company by strengthening ESG management."
