Hyun Kyung Park has re-entered the top 50 in the world rankings.


In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 26th (local time), she earned 1.97 points and climbed eight spots from 57th last week to reach 49th place. It is the first time in nearly four months that she has returned to the top 50. Park, who started the season ranked 44th in the world, dropped to 51st in the first week of March and has since remained outside the top 50.

On the 25th, Park earned ranking points by winning the E1 Charity Open on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour. This marks her eighth career victory, coming one year after her last win at the McCall Mona Yongpyong Open in June of last year. The winner's prize was 180 million won. At the E1 Charity Open, she achieved a flawless victory without recording a single bogey over three days. This is the 12th "no bogey win" in KLPGA Tour history.


Nelly Korda (USA), Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand), and Lydia Ko (New Zealand) firmly held onto the top three spots. Among Korean players, Yoo Hae Ran is ranked 5th, Kim Hyo Joo is 7th, and Ko Jin Young is 10th. Lee Ye Won, who missed the cut for the first time this season at the E1 Charity Open, maintained her position at 25th, keeping the highest ranking on the KLPGA Tour. Chisato Iwai (Japan), who won the LPGA Tour's Mexico Riviera Maya Open, climbed eight spots to 37th place.
