Customer Satisfaction - Lotte Construction
A Premium Residential Complex Realizing Customer-Centered Design
Lotte Castle Eastpole Sets a New Standard for Urban Living in Gwangjin-gu
Smart Home Technology and Community-Oriented Services Enhance Quality of Life
Lotte Construction, which was selected in the customer satisfaction category at this year's Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards, has been recognized for enhancing residential satisfaction through customer-oriented spatial planning and premium designs.
Lotte Castle Eastpole is a residential space that encapsulates this brand philosophy. Located in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, the complex was completed in January and began occupancy in March. In addition to residential buildings, it also features offices, officetels, retail spaces, a hotel, and a public office building. Formerly the site of the KT Gwangjin Branch, Seoul Eastern District Court, and Prosecutors' Office, this area has now established itself as a landmark in Gwangjin-gu, offering both views of the Han River and access to the city center.
Lotte Castle Eastpole maximized sunlight and openness by orienting the buildings mainly to the south and ensuring wide spacing between them. The interiors feature a four-bay layout, large walk-in closets, and pantries. The design takes into account the daily movement patterns of actual residents. The complex also includes community spaces and is arranged to provide scenic views. Smart technology has been incorporated as well. In collaboration with KT, a smart home technology-based system has been established. Residents can call the main entrance and elevators using their smartphones or wall pads. Heating, lighting, and ventilation can also be controlled remotely. Additional conveniences include delivery notifications, air quality monitoring, and unmanned parcel lockers.
The security and health of residents have also been considered. An integrated CCTV system and unmanned patrol robots are in operation, along with disinfection robots and barista robots. Indoors, fine dust sensors and oxygen generators have been installed. The living infrastructure is another strength. On the lower floors of the apartment, there is the NC Eastpole Mall. Community facilities are diverse, including a fitness center, indoor golf range, kids' cafe, library, study room, daycare center, and guest house. The complex is designed as a park-like space with no above-ground parking lots, and landscaping has been planned to be nature-friendly.
Post-move-in services are also systematic. Before moving in, a welcome service provides a resident guide, and after moving in, a dedicated A/S manager is assigned. The status of defect reports and processing is shared in real time. Guidance on how to use smart home devices is also provided.
Coexistence with the local community has been considered as well, with the introduction of high-efficiency energy facilities and an Internet of Things (IoT)-based energy-saving system. Public value has been enhanced by linking public offices and pedestrian pathways. Lotte Castle Eastpole aims to go beyond being a simple apartment complex, striving to become a sustainable, integrated residential space.
