About 150 Local Residents Receive Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Tests

Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President Cho Ikmoon) announced on the 26th that, in celebration of Family Month, it recently carried out a medical volunteer activity for local residents at Yangdong Market Station in Seo-gu, in collaboration with the Gwangju Workers' Health Center.
During the volunteer event, the two organizations jointly provided body composition measurements, including blood pressure and blood sugar tests, to about 150 local residents, including urban railway passengers. They also offered a variety of healthcare programs, such as health consultations by nurses and exercise prescriptions by physical therapists, which received a very positive response.
The two organizations also conducted a public awareness campaign to promote healthy lifestyle practices for citizens' vibrant and healthy daily lives, as well as safe urban railway usage.
President Cho Ikmoon said, "I am pleased that this event, held together with the Gwangju Workers' Health Center in celebration of Family Month, received such a positive response from local residents," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that the urban railway becomes a space of happiness for citizens."
