According to the county on May 26, this event, organized by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Equestrian Association (President Park Youngjae), will feature 32 competitions across three disciplines: dressage, show jumping, and eventing. A total of 350 athletes, ranging from elementary school students to the general division, are expected to showcase their high-level skills.

County Governor Choi Hunsik stated, "I hope all the athletes participating in this competition will fully demonstrate the skills they have honed and achieve excellent results," adding, "I also hope this event will further enhance the county's status as a hub for equestrian sports."

He continued, "We will continue to do our best to expand the resident population by preparing diverse content so that athletes and visitors who participate in equestrian competitions will want to return to Jangsu."

Meanwhile, since being designated as a "Horse Industry Special Zone" in 2018, the county has steadily expanded the base of the equestrian industry by leveraging robust infrastructure centered around the Jangsu International Equestrian Center, the largest indoor equestrian facility in Korea, as well as the Equestrian Experience Center and Jangsu Equestrian Leisure Experience Village, and by continuously attracting various equestrian competitions.
