NH NongHyup Life Insurance announced on the 26th that it conducted its third rural medical support project of the year on the 24th within the jurisdiction of Wando NongHyup in Wando County, Jeollanam-do.
The volunteer event was attended by Kim Minam, head of Wando NongHyup; Ko Sungshin, Executive Vice President of Strategic Sales at NH NongHyup Life Insurance; and Shin Woochul, Governor of Wando County, who encouraged the medical staff on site.
The medical volunteer team provided consultations and prescriptions in various departments, including cardiology, gastroenterology, dentistry, and rehabilitation medicine, for more than 300 farmers and elderly individuals.

The medical team consisted of a total of 30 members, including 7 professors-level specialists and support staff such as pharmacists and nurses.
Various medical equipment, including ECG, ultrasound, dental examination devices, blood pressure monitors, and medication dispensing equipment, were mobilized. If any signs of serious illness or abnormalities were detected during the consultations, follow-up measures such as surgery could be arranged in cooperation with Severance Hospital's main branch.
NH NongHyup Life Insurance previously signed an agreement with Yonsei Medical Center in 2022 to provide medical support and examination activities for medically vulnerable groups in rural areas.
This year, the company plans to offer health checkups and medical services to approximately 2,000 residents and medically vulnerable groups in rural areas through a total of eight sessions.
Ko Sungshin, Vice President of NH NongHyup Life Insurance, stated, "I find it meaningful that we can care for the health of elderly residents in rural areas through the rural medical support project," adding, "NH NongHyup Life Insurance will continue to develop various support measures for the local community in the future."
