Kiwoom Securities to Hold 37th University Student Domestic and Overseas Stock Mock Investment Competition

Kiwoom Securities announced on the 26th that it will hold a mock investment competition for university students to coincide with the summer vacation season.

The registration period for this competition, which is open to current students, students on leave of absence, and graduate students, runs for a total of eight weeks from today until July 20. The competition itself will take place over five weeks, from June 23 to July 25.

The Kiwoom Securities University Student Mock Investment Competition has been held every summer and winter vacation since 2007 with the aim of fostering a sound investment culture. Winners receive generous prizes. Notably, the 36th competition attracted approximately 10,000 participants, marking the highest number of participants among all competitions held in the past three years. As the competition has become an essential program for university students interested in investing, strong interest and popularity are expected to continue this time as well.

Participants are automatically entered into both the domestic and overseas stock leagues. Up to 400 students will receive a total of 23.5 million won in scholarships and certificates. In addition, top winners will be given internship opportunities, making this a valuable chance for students who wish to build their resumes or pursue careers in finance during the vacation period.

An event will also be held to provide various prizes to up to 2,020 students who do not win the main awards. Students who make at least one transaction in either domestic or overseas stocks will be entered into a drawing to win one of 10 iPad Airs or one of 10 pairs of AirPods Pro (2nd generation).

Additionally, 2,000 students who make at least one transaction in either domestic or overseas stocks will be randomly selected to receive a one-time pass for the Saramin Ai mock interview program. There is also an event where all students who refer a school friend to participate will receive 5,000 won in Naver Pay points.

Applications can be submitted through the Kiwoom Securities website, as well as through the 'Hero Moom 4' (HTS) and 'Hero Moom S#' (MTS) platforms.
