The Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that starting from the 27th, it will operate the "2025 Daecheongho Ecological Theme Tourism Program," which offers participants a variety of ecological experiences such as nature walks and gastronomy with artists at Daecheongho.
The program consists of three courses: "Walk with Artists," "Daecheongho Healing Tour," and "Daecheongho Humanities Tour." The first course, "Walk with Artists," is a one-day program where participants can stroll around Daecheongho with local artists, engage in "Name Flower Drawing," and experience dyeing using natural materials.
The second course, "Daecheongho Healing Tour," is also a one-day program. Participants can make mugwort rice cakes using fresh local produce from Daecheongho, enjoy a "semi-classical performance" to soothe the mind and body, tour the newly renovated Daecheongho Nature Ecology Center equipped with digital technology, and have tea while taking in the scenery of the Meditation Garden, which was a filming location for the drama "Sad Love Story."
The third course, "Daecheongho Humanities Tour," is a two-day, one-night program. Participants can explore the traditions and history of Daecheongho with a guide, embark on a story journey, and create lasting memories through a "photo shoot and Mang Ttaerigi walk." On the first day, the schedule includes the "Daecheongho Humanities Walk," "Daecheongho Tea Time," and "Personal Photo Shoot" programs. On the second day, participants will start with brunch at Seongsimdang, followed by visits to the Natural Monument Center, Hanbat Arboretum, and Jangtaesan Recreational Forest.
To participate in the program, reservations for each course can be made on the Travel4U website. The participation fee is 25,000 won for a one-day course and 50,000 won for the two-day, one-night course.
Yoon Sunguk, President of the Daejeon Tourism Organization, said, "The Daecheongho Ecological Theme Tourism Program will provide an opportunity to experience the beauty and ecological value of the magnificent Daecheongho."
