GS Engineering & Construction announced on May 26, 2025, that it plans to begin sales of "Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City" in Dongsan-ri, Tangjeong-myeon, Asan, South Chungcheong Province next month.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City is the follow-up project to Asan Tangjeong Xi First City, which recorded a peak subscription competition rate of 137.7 to 1 at the end of last year. Through the Asan New Town Central City urban development project, a Xi brand town with a total of 3,673 units will be established.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City will consist of eight buildings ranging from two basement levels to 35 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,238 units. The unit breakdown is as follows: 65 units of 59㎡A, 65 units of 59㎡B, 715 units of 84㎡A, 291 units of 84㎡B, 95 units of 84㎡C, 3 units of 125㎡PA, and 4 units of 125㎡PB.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City is located at the core area connecting Buldang District, the most preferred residential area in Cheonan, and the planned large-scale residential development site, Asan Tangjeong 2 District. Buldang District leads the real estate market in the Asan and Cheonan regions and is equipped with infrastructure and educational facilities. Asan Tangjeong 2 District, a large-scale urban development project that can accommodate approximately 46,000 people, officially began construction this year and is aiming for completion in 2029.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City offers excellent accessibility to various industrial complexes in Cheonan and Asan, making it ideal for residents seeking proximity between home and workplace. It provides quick access to Samsung Asan Display Campus, Asan Display City, and Samsung Electronics Nano City Onyang Campus, as well as easy travel to Tangjeong, Cheonan 2nd, 3rd, and 4th General Industrial Complexes.
Cheonan Asan Station, located nearby, allows for convenient travel to the Seoul metropolitan area. Transportation conditions are expected to improve further once the KTX Cheonan Asan Station Metropolitan Transfer Center is established in the future.
Asan Tangjeong Xi Central City features a south-facing layout for optimal sunlight and ventilation. The inclusion of pantries, dressing rooms, and other features enhances storage capacity and space utilization.
The community center, "Club Xi-an," will offer amenities such as a fitness club, golf practice range, GX room, sauna, and study room. Notably, the top floor of the main building will house an exclusive residents' sky lounge, "Club Cloud," which will include a book cafe and guest house, with Kyobo Bookstore providing book curation services. In addition, Xi's signature landscaping facilities will be developed in line with the scale of the complex, ensuring a pleasant residential environment.
