KOSDAQ-listed company Colorray announced on May 26 that its 'cosmetic material smart factory' has been designated as a National Advanced Smart Factory. This designation is a recognition of Colorray's accumulated smart manufacturing technology and innovative capabilities at the national level, and is considered a significant milestone in the intelligent transformation of the cosmetic material industry.
The 'National Advanced Smart Factory' is the highest-level certification system representing the level of smart manufacturing in China's manufacturing sector. This certification is determined through a multi-stage expert assessment, on-site inspections, and industry benchmarking over a review period of more than six months, comprehensively reflecting six key indicators, including the level of technology integration, depth of data utilization, and productivity improvement rate. Companies that obtain this certification are eligible to receive more than 10 million yuan in special government subsidies for further smart advancement.
In recent years, Colorray has continued to invest in strengthening its smart manufacturing capabilities based on the management philosophy that 'innovation is growth.' By introducing advanced equipment and driving digital transformation, the company has converted its existing production system into a flexible manufacturing system, improved supply chain response speed, and enhanced synergy between industries.
As a result, product manufacturing efficiency improved by 57.89%, and energy consumption per unit decreased by 16.88%. Operating costs were reduced by 17.35%, and the product development cycle was shortened by 10.7%. In addition, the defect rate dropped by 26.57%, achieving meaningful improvements in overall productivity and quality standards.
Colorray has established a production model that integrates digitalization, networking, and intelligence, and has built a system in which information is organically linked across all processes, including manufacturing, quality, and logistics. Data within the production management system is precisely analyzed and integrated, enabling visual management of the entire product lifecycle at a highly advanced level.
This smart factory certification has significantly enhanced Colorray's brand credibility and market influence. It has laid the foundation for attracting high-quality clients and partners, accelerating entry into the high-end market, and, through government policy support and financial subsidies, has secured the conditions for continued investment in the advancement of smart manufacturing.
