"Strengthening Worker Safety"... Sampyo Group Implements Safety Portal System

Integrated Management of Daily Work Status
Mobile Registration for Four Types of Safety Documents

Sampyo Group is officially implementing its 'Safety Portal System,' which enables the digitalization and integrated management of daily work status at each site office. The company aims to strengthen its practical response capabilities for worker safety by introducing smart safety technology.

"Strengthening Worker Safety"... Sampyo Group Implements Safety Portal System

On May 26, Sampyo Group announced that it had launched and begun operating the Safety Portal System on its official website.

The Safety Portal is a system that digitalizes standardized manuals to enhance disaster response capabilities for workers engaged in various industrial activities. The main goal is to strengthen data services tailored to the business status of each affiliate division and to integrate and manage digital safety activities.

In particular, the system has significantly enhanced its data visualization features. By providing dashboards that display the occurrence status of safety activities?such as daily work status and observation logs?through images and graphs, it has improved user accessibility and usability.

Through this, the system intuitively presents data for four types of safety documents according to work type (work permit, risk assessment, pre-work safety meeting (TBM), and work plan), thereby further enhancing operational efficiency through concise readability.

Most notably, by digitalizing the safety inspection checklist, it is now possible to register daily work details and the four types of safety documents in real time via mobile devices. This is expected to strengthen on-site work safety.

Additionally, users can select a risk level (high, medium, low) for each work type?such as routine, hot work, LOTOTO (safety procedures), high places, heavy equipment, and electrical work?and assign a safety observation manager accordingly, thereby clarifying preventive measures and management responsibilities. The status of high-risk workplaces and outsourced construction sites is also displayed at the top of the dashboard for quick and easy identification.

Furthermore, the company shares accident cases that may occur at construction sites every week, emphasizes the responsibilities and roles of those involved at work sites, and conducts safety training to raise safety awareness.

Currently, the Safety Portal System is being implemented at 69 sites (factories) across all group divisions, including ready-mixed concrete, aggregates, mortar, concrete, railway, construction materials, and environmental resources.

A Sampyo Group representative stated, "With the implementation of this system, we will not only raise awareness of safety more clearly but also strive to reduce the risk of industrial accidents at worksites."
