One Free Admission for Every 10 Visits
Attracting Tourists to Andong
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Namil) announced on May 25 that, starting June 1, it will launch a green fee discount and mileage accumulation event at Andong Lake Golf Club to help restore tourism demand in the Andong area, which was affected by wildfires, and to revitalize the local economy.
This event offers a green fee discount (30,000 won per person) to customers who visit the Andong Lake Golf Club for an 18-hole round and then stay at an accommodation in downtown Andong on the second day. In addition, a mileage accumulation event will be held, allowing guests who visit Andong Lake Golf Club 10 times to receive one free weekday admission.
Through these efforts, Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation expects to achieve tangible results in both attracting tourists to the Andong area and boosting local consumption.
President Kim Namil stated, "Along with the Gyeongbuk group tourism revitalization project that has been underway since 2019, I hope this Andong Lake Golf Club event will encourage many golfers to visit Andong and provide an opportunity to support the affected area and disaster victims."
