Promoting Communication and Learning Within the Organization
Through Voluntary Participation of Employees

Korea & Company Group announced on the 25th that it held the "20th Knowledge Sharing Meeting" on the 23rd at its headquarters Techno Plex in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province.

This program is designed to share knowledge and information in various fields such as trends, technology, and the humanities. Presenters are selected either through internal recruitment or individual invitations. The program takes the form of a brown bag session, held on the third Friday of every month, where participants can join comfortably over lunch. The group explained, "For communication efficiency, the number of participants is limited to around 80."

The presenter for this session was Ahn Jongwoong from Hanon Systems, who introduced Hanon Systems and shared his thoughts on joining Korea & Company Group. He engaged in open communication with employees, drawing on his practical experience.

Last month, Olaf Rozowski from Hankook Tire & Technology's Poland branch, who is participating in the group's global career program, took the stage as the presenter. Under the theme "A Tour of Poland in 30 Minutes," he discussed the cultural differences between Poland and Korea. This session recorded the highest ever participation rate among employees and became a hot topic within the company.

This event is part of a company-wide communication expansion project led by Korea & Company Group Chairman Cho Hyunbum. The autonomous communication among group members is seen as being closely aligned with Chairman Cho's philosophy of proactive leadership. Recently, Chairman Cho has also led the implementation of the AI-based real-time communication platform "IAA" to create a digital learning organization. IAA was planned at Chairman Cho's direct suggestion starting last October, and currently, more than 110 executives across the company are participating.

Executives share various types of information, such as news, videos, and web content, in chat rooms, and an AI assistant summarizes this information to provide insights. On average, 8 to 12 agenda items are shared per day, and the response rate exceeds 96%. When discussions on IAA deepen, the issue is expanded to the "Executive Innovation Channel" on Microsoft Teams. The content of these communications is also used as a collaboration metric through dashboard analysis.

Oh Yunjung, head of the Proactive Culture Team, said, "Based on the management's commitment to autonomous leadership, a culture of flexible communication and creative knowledge sharing is spreading rapidly," adding, "We will continue to strengthen a creative and flexible corporate culture through initiatives such as the Knowledge Sharing Meeting, Proactive Concert, and the expansion of IAA."
