Comprehensive Criticism of Pro-Yoon Faction on Social Media
Condemns Martial Law Advocacy and Submission to Far-Right Forces
Former People Power Party leader Han Donghoon stated on the 24th, "The reason I am talking about clearing out the pro-Yoon old guard is to defeat Lee Jaemyung of the Democratic Party in this crucial election," adding, "Only then can we overcome the current gap in approval ratings."
Through social media on this day, Han said, "Those in the pro-Yoon old guard have abused their power and flattered themselves by relying on the backing of President Yoon Sukyeol and Kim Keonhee, ruined the country, defended illegal martial law, deceived the public under the guise of enlightenment orders, submitted to far-right YouTubers, followed Jeon Gwanghun's events, manipulated primary rules, promoted Prime Minister Han Ducksoo who is now nowhere to be found, and ultimately staged a party coup in the early morning. Without clearing out these pro-Yoon old guard figures, we will not be able to gain the votes of rational moderates," he argued. "Rational moderate citizens believe that even if we win without clearing out the pro-Yoon old guard, the world will remain the same, only without Yoon Sukyeol and Kim Keonhee," he asserted.
He continued, "The pro-Yoon old guard are hiding anonymously and harshly criticizing me for telling the truth about them, claiming that I am engaging in party disloyalty and threatening to hold me accountable," adding, "The real act of party disloyalty is the behavior I mentioned earlier, and the attempts by the pro-Yoon old guard to maintain their power by making deals for party leadership with those they previously forced out, even if the former president and his wife are no longer present."
Han is currently campaigning independently and has not joined the election committee for People Power Party presidential candidate Kim Moonsu.
