On May 24, the Democratic Party called on Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party presidential candidate, to clearly state his position on election fraud conspiracy theories, asking, "Is he united with former President Yoon Sukyeol on election fraud claims?"

Spokesperson Park Kyungmi said in a written briefing that day, "Media reports have revealed that Kim Moonsoo's campaign invited conservative YouTubers and encouraged them to spread election fraud conspiracy theories."
Park added, "Is candidate Kim dreaming of a 'second rebellion' by inheriting Yoon Sukyeol's delusions? The election fraud delusions connecting Yoon Sukyeol and Kim Moonsoo are once again threatening democracy."
Park also referred to reports that the People Power Party had proposed a de facto coalition government to the Reform New Party and the New Future Democratic Party, using a 'constitutional amendment agreement' as leverage, and criticized, "This is shamelessness on the part of forces plotting rebellion, proposing backroom deals to share power."
She continued, "Was this the real reason for bringing up constitutional reform? For the People Power Party, is constitutional reform nothing more than a bargaining chip to protect their vested interests, rather than a foundation for building a new Republic of Korea?"
Park further stated, "The public will never forgive the shamelessness of the People Power Party, which is willing to buy off candidates, endlessly engage in despicable political maneuvering, and attempt sordid backroom deals just to hold on to their vested interests."
