The first beneficiary of this project is the 'Veterans UP! Sasang-type SMART Care' initiative, which is being carried out by the Veterans Organizations Council of Sasang-gu, Busan.

Launched in March, this initiative focuses on providing customized care services to ensure a stable and healthy life for veterans' families in Sasang-gu. Specifically, it supports personalized services in five areas?health, nutrition, medical care, welfare, and caregiving?by linking them with community resources according to individual needs.

The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office is offering a wide range of administrative and financial support, including the provision of government subsidies, to ensure the smooth implementation of this project. The initiative is scheduled to run until November.

The Veterans Affairs Office stated, "We will further strengthen cooperation with related organizations such as the Sasang-gu Office and Busan Veterans Hospital to revitalize veterans halls in the Busan area and improve the quality of life for veterans' families." The office also added, "We will continue our efforts to enhance respect for veterans' families and contribute to the local community."
