Unyeol Choi, Chairman of the Accounting Policy Research Institute (President of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants), emphasized, "Over the past year, the institute has carried out research service support projects related to the Basic Act on Accounting and other areas to establish a practical foundation for the development of accounting policy. Based on this, we have strived to propose policy alternatives." He added, "Going forward, we will faithfully fulfill our role as a 'think tank' that closely connects academia, industry, and policymakers to advance the accounting system and enhance accounting transparency."
