Recruiting Participants for Programs Including SNS Marketing
Seogu District in Gwangju (District Mayor Kim Ikang) is officially launching the 'Talent Sharing Youth Instructor' project, in which young people directly plan programs and participate as instructors.
According to Seogu District on May 23, the 'Talent Sharing Youth Instructor' program is a participatory initiative that breaks away from the traditional expert-centered, one-way lecture format. In this program, young people lead the entire process, from planning and operating lectures to providing feedback. It offers lectures that reflect youth demand in various fields, including employment and career development, IT and media, and culture and the arts.

The currently operating programs include ▲ 'Character Design Lessons Directly from a Graphic Designer,' which runs until May 29, and ▲ 'Handmade Pet Treats Workshop While Sharing Picnic Spots,' which will be held on May 26.
Starting next month, new lectures reflecting the interests of young people will begin, such as ▲ SNS Marketing: A Guide to Becoming a Public Institution Supporter ▲ Entrepreneurship: Life Skills for a Regret-Free Twenties ▲ Creating Glass Landscapes with Sky Painting. Recruitment for participants is currently underway.
All lectures are held at the Seogu Youth Center Plus, and participation is completely free of charge. Applications can be submitted through the integrated reservation service on the Seogu District website or via the Youth Employment Support Division.
Jung Myungsook, Head of the Youth Employment Support Division, stated, "This project is expected to play a significant role as a virtuous cycle model in which youth nurture other youth, boosting local youths' self-esteem and expanding the talent pool. We will continue to operate advanced courses for outstanding youth instructors and further expand youth activities by discovering new instructors."
