Ansan City Recruiting 109 Participants for "Youth Administrative Internship" Until June 4

Administrative Support Tasks at City Hall and District Offices

On May 23, the city of Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, announced that it will be recruiting 109 participants for the "Summer Youth Administrative Internship Program" for local youth from May 28 to June 4.

This internship, which aims to provide young people with hands-on administrative experience, will run from July 7 to August 22. Participants will assist with administrative tasks at locations such as city hall, branch offices, district offices, administrative welfare centers, libraries, and public health centers. The city explained that, in order to provide participants with more in-depth practical experience, the daily working hours have been increased from the previous 5 hours to 8 hours per day.

Eligible applicants are young people or university students aged 19 to 39 who are registered residents of Ansan as of the announcement date (May 21). The city will select 76 participants through general recruitment and 33 participants from socially disadvantaged groups. However, those who have participated in this program within the past year are not eligible to apply.

Applicants who are recipients of basic livelihood security, members of the next-lowest income bracket, or single-parent families must consult with a social welfare officer before applying, as their welfare benefits and eligibility may change due to income earned from the internship.

The application period is from May 28 to June 4. Interested individuals must apply online through the "Support Programs" section of the Jobaba Apply website. The daily wage is 85,240 KRW, and a separate weekly holiday allowance will also be provided. Participants will also receive coverage under the four major social insurance programs.

Participants will be selected through a random computerized draw, and the results will be announced on the city hall website on June 19. For more details, refer to the "Notices and Announcements" section of the Ansan City Hall website or contact the city's Youth Policy Office.
