At the Concert Hall of the Seoul Arts Center on August 30
The concert "Disney Fantasia in Concert," which combines classical masterpieces with Disney animation, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on August 30 at the Concert Hall of the Seoul Arts Center, according to concert organizer Mast Media on May 23.
"Disney Fantasia in Concert" is a film concert based on selected iconic scenes from Disney's 1940 masterpiece animated film "Fantasia" and its sequel "Fantasia 2000," released sixty years later. Well-known classical pieces such as Stravinsky's "The Firebird," Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," and Debussy's "Clair de Lune" will be performed alongside original Disney visuals, making it an event that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to classical music beginners.
"Fantasia" is regarded as an unprecedented artistic experiment at the time of its 1940 release, combining Disney animation with classical music and showcasing Disney's creative vision.
This performance will feature a large-scale orchestra of more than seventy members, delivering a vivid live performance synchronized with the visuals.
The concert will be conducted by Adriel Kim and performed by Orchestra The Original.
Tickets are available for purchase through Interpark and the Seoul Arts Center.
