Moving Beyond Naver's Exclusive System
"Expanding Global Partnership Programs"
Startup Alliance announced on May 23 that it unveiled new member companies at the "Startup Ecosystem Conference 2025" held on May 22.
The 22 newly announced member companies are major investors and IT companies actively operating within the startup ecosystem. Startup Alliance plans to systematically build a foundation for cooperation with these companies to support the sustainable development of the ecosystem. The organization explained that this expansion of membership, in addition to the support it has received from Naver over the past decade, marks a turning point as it broadens its collaborative network to encompass the entire startup ecosystem.

The new member companies are D.Camp, Altos Ventures, Gowid, Dunamu and Partners, Mashup Ventures, Murex Partners, Base Ventures, Mission Law Firm, Bluepoint, Signite, SparkLabs, Strong Ventures, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Jiranjigyo Soft, Kakao, TBT Partners, Primer, FuturePlay, Translink Investment, SBVA, IMM Investment, and Judy Chang Law Firm, totaling 22 companies. Including the existing member Naver, there are now 23 member companies in total.
Startup Alliance plans to expand a variety of global partnership programs as the Korean startup ecosystem moves onto the global stage, leveraging cooperation with new members that possess global networks.
Lee Gidae, head of Startup Alliance, said, "For the time being, rather than recruiting additional members, we plan to focus on building projects that can make a tangible contribution to activating the startup ecosystem by working closely with our partners."
Meanwhile, SsaengCon, now in its 10th year, is a conference where key stakeholders from across the startup ecosystem?including investors, large corporations, government, startup support organizations, and universities?gather to discuss current issues. This year's event featured insights from a variety of fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, and global expansion.
